Varun Dhawan News: Varun Dhawan relived a funny moment from his film "Jug Jug Jeeyo," where he had to play a drunk character in a scene with Anil Kapoor and Maniesh Paul. For this scene, Varun and Maniesh started drinking early in the morning to fully get into the skin of their characters. Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Varun shared this experience, explaining that the scene kept him and Maniesh drunk for two days.

Alcohol Helps the Character

Varun explained that in the film's climax scene, his character had to deliver a speech while drunk. To bring the scene to life, he and Maniesh Paul started drinking at 7:30 in the morning. Varun laughed, "In that scene with Anil sir, when he was repeating his dialogues, I had to give a speech while drunk. We had to be really drunk for that. We started drinking at 7:30 in the morning, and by 2 in the afternoon, our voices were slurring."

However, the story wasn't over even after the scene was completed. Varun explained that it took two days to complete the scene, forcing them to repeat the process again the next day. "The next day, shooting continued, so we had to drink again," Varun laughed. This experience also provided many fun moments on set, which have now become memorable for him.
