Virat Kohli wicket Video: Team India's dashing batsman and former captain Virat Kohli proved to be a flop in the first innings of the opening Test match of the series against Bangladesh. He returned to the pavilion after scoring just one run. Virat was made a victim by left arm spinner Taijul Islam. He was able to play only 5 balls and was dismissed in the 20th over of the innings. Bangladesh started well and took 3 wickets in quick succession. Later Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer took over the team.

Team India's start was nothing special in the match. He lost his three wickets in quick succession. Shubman Gill and KL Rahul started the innings but both returned to the pavilion till the team score of 45 runs. Gill was made a victim by Taijul on the second ball of the 14th over of the innings. Then Rahul was bowled by Khalid Ahmed. Virat got out as the third wicket. Rishabh Pant was bowled by Mehdi Hasan Miraj. He hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in his innings of 45 balls. Pant returned to the pavilion as the fourth wicket on the team's score of 112.
