Rajasthan Politics: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, during his day-long visit to Sikar on Sunday, participated in the drug de-addiction pledge ceremony held in front of the Medical College. On this occasion, he made several important points, emphasizing drug de-addiction, youth empowerment, and social reforms.

Drug De-addiction: A Social Pledge

The Chief Minister described drug de-addiction as an essential step for the development of society and the country. He said, "Youth are the strength of any nation. They play an important role in the development of society and the country. Therefore, it is essential that more and more youth join the drug de-addiction campaign." He encouraged those present to pledge to remain drug-free, not only in society, but also in family, friends, and themselves. "Change begins within ourselves. Let us all take a pledge to make our areas drug-free," he emphasized.

Religious Conversion Bill: Encouragement and Security for Youth

Referring to the recently introduced Religious Conversion Bill, CM Bhajan Lal said, "Our bill, which aims to prevent illegal religious conversions, will inspire enthusiasm among the youth. Previously, our sisters and daughters were lured and trapped through fraud and allurement. Now, this bill will put such people behind bars."

Strict Action Against Drugs

The Chief Minister highlighted his government's achievements against drug abuse. He stated that in the past 18 months, 6,608 cases have been filed against drug abuse in Rajasthan, and over 7,800 arrests have been made. Additionally, 4,700 kg of opium and 130 kg of heroin have been seized. "Under our government, the state is moving towards security. Previously, drug trafficking was rampant on the border, but now we have stopped it," he said.

Zero tolerance for paper leaks

Taking aim at the previous Congress government, the CM said, "Earlier, young people would study hard and take exams, but the papers would get leaked. I feel sad to say this, but now I assure you that not a single paper has been leaked in the last two years." He appealed to the youth to work hard and move forward.

Employment Opportunities: A Promise for Youth

The Chief Minister reiterated his government's commitment to employment. He said, "We promised to create one lakh jobs in a year. 75,000 jobs have been created, and more jobs will be created on the 25th. We will create four lakh jobs in the next five years." He also emphasized employment opportunities in the private sector. "Through programs like Rising Rajasthan, we will create more than six lakh jobs in the private sector. Just prepare, and you will get opportunities in every field," he said.

Social Responsibility and National Development

The CM praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that terrorism and Naxalism have decreased in the country during his tenure. He appealed to the youth to contribute to the country's development through hard work and diligence. Referring to social campaigns like the Swachhata Abhiyan and "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," he said, "We too must work to strengthen our society."

Drug De-addiction: A Shared Responsibility

Finally, the Chief Minister described drug de-addiction as a shared responsibility. He said, "Make drug de-addiction a firm commitment. You are the architects of this country's destiny. When we move forward, Rajasthan and the country will also progress."

Through this tour, the Chief Minister not only underscored his government's commitment to drug de-addiction, but also inspired the youth, promising them new employment and security opportunities.
