The central government has announced a new and very useful scheme—FASTag based Annual Pass Scheme, which is going to be implemented across the country from August 15, 2025. This scheme will prove to be a big relief for millions of drivers and passengers.

What is FASTag Annual Pass Scheme?

This scheme is specially designed for private vehicles—like cars, jeeps and vans. Under this, you will be able to get an annual pass by paying ₹ 3,000 annually, which will be valid for 200 toll crossings. That is, if your annual highway trips are less than 200, then through this pass you can travel throughout the year without paying separate toll.
