' He further added that this celebration is an insult to every woman who has been waiting for her rights for decades. Shah questioned how many times the Congress and its allies would betray women, noting that the joy of arrogance, which appears like a victory, is actually a hidden defeat.
Specific Allegations Against Opposition Parties
' He specifically named the Congress, TMC, DMK, and Samajwadi Party for not allowing the constitutional amendment bill necessary for the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' to pass. ' He emphasized that the mindset of these parties is neither in the interest of women nor the country.

On Friday, April 17, the government failed to pass the 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill related to women's reservation in the Lok Sabha.
Warning for the 2029 General Elections
Shah pointed out that due to this failure, women won't receive the 33% reservation in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies that was their right. He warned that the insult to 'Nari Shakti' wouldn't stop here but would resonate far and wide. The Home Minister stated that the opposition would face the 'wrath of women' not only in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections but at every level, in every election, and everywhere.
