Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public meeting in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, issued a stern and uncompromising warning to infiltrators, reiterating the government's resolve to expel them from the country. During his speech, Shah emphasized that India isn't a dharamshala, which refers to a free lodging house, where anyone can enter and stay at will. He asserted that the nation belongs to those who are born here and that every single infiltrator would be identified and removed from the country's territory. He stated that the government would pick out each and every infiltrator from across the nation and ensure they're sent out.
Targeting Political Opponents
Taking a direct aim at Uddhav Thackeray and the Congress party, Amit Shah accused them of practicing vote bank politics. He stated that Uddhav Thackeray is now sitting in the lap of the Congress and intends to use infiltrators as a secure vote bank for political gains. Shah urged the audience to listen carefully to his message, reinforcing that the security and integrity of India would be ensured under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed confidence that the borders, particularly in West Bengal, would soon be completely sealed against illegal entry, noting that the people of Bengal have already given their blessings to the party.
PM Modi's Historic Milestone
During the rally, the Home Minister highlighted the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that he has recently set a significant record. Shah pointed out that Modi has become the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in the country's history. He reflected on the past 12 years, stating that under Modi's leadership, the influence and governance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the National Democratic Alliance have expanded from Somnath to Gangasagar, covering the entire length and breadth of the nation. He mentioned that people used to wonder if the party could ever reach every part of the country, especially West Bengal, but the last elections proved that the people there support the BJP.
A National Cultural Renaissance
Amit Shah also spoke extensively about the cultural awakening taking place in India, while he recalled the days of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement when many experienced citizens believed that a temple would never be built in their lifetime. He credited the formation of the BJP government in 2014 and PM Modi's leadership for making the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya a reality, which now stands tall with its saffron flag. He further listed several other major projects, including the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the reconstruction of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, and the transformation of the Somnath Temple into gold. He also mentioned the ongoing work on the Maa Kamakhya Corridor and the commencement of the Maa Ambabai Corridor project, stating that the country is progressing under the mantra of Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi, which means development along with heritage.
Visit to Shri Ambabai Mahalaxmi Temple
Prior to the public meeting on Saturday, Amit Shah visited the sacred Shaktipeeth Shri Ambabai Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur to offer prayers and seek blessings. Following his visit, he shared his experience on social media, praying that the grace of Goddess Mahalaxmi remains with everyone. This visit underscored the spiritual significance of his trip to the region before addressing the political gathering and making his strong statements regarding national security and cultural identity.
