Bihar Floor Test: Nitish Kumar government has to prove majority in Bihar assembly today. As soon as the proceedings of the House began, Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha gave a speech and then resigned. The proceedings of the assembly have been adjourned till 2 pm. The RJD had announced to bring a no-confidence motion against him. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav were also present in the house during the proceedings. In the speech, Sinha said that we would have taken decisions according to the sentiments of the members of the House but we were not given such an opportunity. The government changed on 9 August and the new government was formed on 10 August. I myself would have quit after the new government was formed, but a no-confidence motion came against us.
He said that due to the no-confidence motion, it has become a moral responsibility for us to answer. The no-confidence motion that came is unclear. The no-confidence motion moved by nine members did not seem right. Sinha further said, the proposal brought by a member Lalit Yadav seemed correct, the current education minister Chandrashekhar has raised questions on us. Sinha further said, whoever will sit on this seat, they will have our best wishes. We will urge that the respect of the legislature should increase. After giving the speech, Vijay Kumar Sinha left the house. However, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kukar Sinha objected to the Speaker's decision.
Raids on Tejashwi's Mall
After raiding the premises of three RJD leaders of Bihar, CBI has also raided the mall of Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav's Urban Cubes mall is being built in Gurugram. Apart from Gurugram, CBI raids are going on at 25 places in Patna, Madhubani and Katihar.

The CBI has simultaneously raided the premises of many RJD leaders including RJD MLC and Sunil Singh, who is considered a special member of the Lalu family. The CBI team has simultaneously raided the whereabouts of many leaders including Sunil Singh, MP Ashfaq Karim, Fayaz Ahmed. These raids have been done in the case of land in lieu of job. Sources say that many RJD leaders are still on the CBI radar.
