Bollywood Demands #JusticeForJayarajAndFenix

By News Helpline - Mumbai | While our country stood out for justice for American African man Geroge Floyd, an equally horrifying case has taken place in our country which has shaken everybody. Custodial death of father son duo Jayaraj and Fenix who owned a mobile shop in Sathankulam, Tamil Nadu has jolted the whole country.

They were brutally beaten up by the police for keeping their shop open for a few minutes more than the permitted time and eventually the two succumbed to death.

There is an outrage across the country after this incident and everyone is demanding justice for them. Many Bollywood Celebrities are also coming forward and tweeting for the same.

Priyanka Chopra has tweeted,"#JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks Reeling from what I' hearing. Absolutely stunned, sad and angry. No human being deserves such brutality, whatever be their crime. The guilty must not be allowed to go unpunished. We need facts. I cannot even begin to imagine what the family must be going through. Sending strength and prayers. We need to use our collective voices to seek #JusticeForJayarajAndBennicks."

Genelia Deshmukh wrote, "I am so shocked and pained and to a large extent just unsure, how we have become such a horrible race. This incident is so brutal, it actually breaks my heart..Just not done. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix."

Rakul Preet Singh tweeted, "This is heartbreaking. I am disgusted. This kind of brutality is inhuman and no one has the right to treat another life in this manner. Makes me sick to the stomach. Strength to the family members of the deceased. This should not be tolerated. I demand #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix."

Taapsee Pannu shared, "This might just be one case out of many but it takes only one case to begin the snowball effect. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix It could've been anyone we know. Details are scary and gut wrenching. "

Kajal Aggarwal shared, "This is gut wrenching, sickening and intolerable. Cannot seem to fathom how we as a society are so sick in the head. We have to raise  our voice NOW. Stand in support of #JayarajAndFenix. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix cannot imagine the sorrow of the family. Heartfelt grief and condolence. I couldn't even listen to this whole video. Grotesque and gruesome. The cops involved need a harsher punishment than just a tranfer. #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix."
