Bride among 4 killed in Punjab road accident, groom critical

A bride was among four people killed in a highway accident in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Monday, hours after her wedding. The dead include the bride, her two relatives and the driver of the vehicle they were travelling. The groom was seriously injured in the accident which happened around 6am. The family was returning from Yamunanagar after the wedding of their son. The accident occurred after their Mahindra Bolero crashed

A bride was among four people killed in a highway accident in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Monday, hours after her wedding, police said.

The dead include the bride, her two relatives and the driver of the vehicle they were travelling in. The groom was seriously injured in the accident which happened around 6am.

The accident occurred after their Mahindra Bolero crashed into a stationary combine machine used for harvesting crops on the highway.

The family was returning from Yamunanagar after the wedding of their son.
