Govind Singh Dotasra: Rajasthan Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara has launched a scathing attack on the central government and alleged that it is forcibly inculcating the ideology of RSS and BJP in the minds of children by funding NGOs. Dotasara said that while he was the education minister, a centrally-funded NGO had tried to sign an MoU with him, but he recognized it and flatly refused. He made this statement during the inauguration ceremony of the three-day training camp of Jawahar Bal Manch in Jaipur.

Sharing his experience, Dotasara said, "When I was the Education Minister, representatives of an NGO came to me. They proposed that we will educate students of class 10th, 11th and 12th for free under a 'mind wash program'. In this, their chapters and ideology will be explained, and it will be broadcasted live on a major news channel. That channel works in favor of the Prime Minister. I asked them why do you want to brainwash only these older children? Why don't you teach children of younger classes like third to eighth?"

He further said that the real intention of the NGO came to the fore. "I told them clearly that your agenda is not right. You do not want to brainwash, but impose the ideology of RSS on our children. No person from Rajasthan will tolerate this." According to Dotasara, the people of the NGO left, but after some time a girl from Rajasthan, who was with them, came back. He revealed, "Sir, you have understood it absolutely right. The central government is funding this NGO and has instructed it to brainwash the children who will become voters after three-four years."

Criticism of the Centre's policy on English

Dotasra also raised questions on the education policy of the central government, especially the Home Minister's statement that English speakers in the country would be ashamed. Calling it shameful, he said, "They talk about imparting education in mother tongue, but mother tongue is the one which is spoken at home and the child learns from the mother. English is an international language. In this era of globalization, it is necessary to learn English to move ahead. Without English, it will be difficult to compete at the global level."

Correct knowledge of history is necessary, not narrow ideology

The Congress leader, while emphasizing the importance of history in education, said that the school curriculum was updated during the Congress rule. It included a detailed description of major events before and after independence, as well as mention of the contribution of various leaders. Dotasara said, "Children should know the correct history of the country. We cannot narrow our ideology just by listening to hollow speeches from the Red Fort. We should adopt a broad approach and not be influenced by empty speeches."

This statement has come at a time when the debate among political parties is intensifying on the education and ideology of the youth. Dotasara's allegations are raising questions on the central government and RSS, although no official response has come from the Center yet. Political analysts believe that this issue can become a big weapon for the Congress in the upcoming elections, especially targeting young voters.
