He said that there is a shortage of semiconductor chips all over the world, due to which mobiles are not being made. That's why mobiles will be given in different phases. In the first phase, a target has been set to distribute mobiles to 40 lakh women. There, 80 lakh mobiles will be given in the next phase.Beneficiary girls who reached Birla Auditorium to collect mobiles told that mobile will help in studies. All the messages of the college will be available. Our doubts will be cleared.Rural women will get a lot of support. You will also get to know about the schemes of the government. From today, the distribution of smartphones has started at the district level as well.

Message will come on mobileUnder this scheme, the category of 40 lakh women to whom phones will be distributed in the first phase has been decided. The Department of Information and Technology (DoIT) has started sending messages to these women on mobile numbers linked to their mass base.Women who have received messages on their mobiles can go to their nearest camp and collect the mobiles. These camps will be organized at government schools, colleges, community centers and Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendras in every district.
This is the process to get a smartphoneFirst of all, e-KYC of the beneficiary will be done on the IGSY portal in the camp. After KYC is done, Janadhar e-wallet will be installed on the mobile phone of the beneficiary.After this, after entering the PAN card details of the beneficiary on the IGSY portal, three types of forms will be printed and given to him.Taking these forms, the beneficiary will go to the counter of the mobile service provider company and select the SIM and data plan. After this, he will go to the counter of the mobile company and select the mobile phone as per his wish.After all this, the beneficiary will go to the next counter with the filled form, where the filled documents will be scanned and entered on the IGSY portal.As soon as this process is completed, Rs 6800 (Rs 6125 for phone purchase and Rs 675 for SIM and data plan) will be transferred to the beneficiary's e-wallet, from which he will buy mobile phone and SIM card.
These documents are necessary for registrationIt will be necessary for the beneficiary to bring his Janadhar card, Aadhaar card, PAN card and mobile number registered in the Janadhar card with him while coming to the camp. Studying girl students will have to bring ID card/enrollment card with them, widow women will have to bring PPO along with them. If someone does not have a PAN card, he will be made to fill Form-60 on the spot.
Money will remain in e-wallet on buying cheap phoneRs 6125 will be given by the government for purchasing mobile handset and Rs 675 for purchasing data plan with SIM card. If a beneficiary buys a phone worth Rs 5999, the remaining Rs 126 will remain in his e-wallet. Which he can use anywhere according to his own. Similarly, if a beneficiary buys a mobile handset costlier than Rs.6125, then he will have to pay the difference amount from his pocket.
Priority given to these women in the first phase- Girl students studying in government schools from 9th to 12th.
- Girl students studying in government higher educational institutions, colleges, who are pursuing graduation or ITI.
- Widow and single women who are getting social pension from the government.
- Female head of the household who completed 100 days of employment last year under MNREGA scheme.
- The female head of the household who has completed 50 days of employment under the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme.
