Madan Dilawar: The camera spying controversy in Rajasthan Assembly has now taken a new turn. Education Minister Madan Dilawar has strongly countered the allegations leveled by Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara on Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani. Dilawar has deepened the controversy by making personal and serious allegations against Dotasara and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.Dotasara's allegations and Dilawar's replyGovind Singh Dotasara had accused Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani of violating the privacy of women. In response, Madan Dilawar termed Dotasara as the "leader of the characterless gang". Dilawar said that cameras are installed not only in the Rajasthan Assembly, but also in the Lok Sabha, the lobby of the Assembly, and even in the offices of the Congress. He raised the question whether Dotasara has installed cameras in his office for obscene acts.Calling Dotasra's allegations baseless, Dilawar said, "When a woman goes to the bathroom or changes clothes, has Dotasra installed cameras to see all this? These are the same people who brought up cases like the Bhanwari scandal and the Ajmer porn scandal in Rajasthan."Targeting Rahul GandhiMadan Dilawar did not spare Congress leader Rahul Gandhi either. He accused Rahul Gandhi of behaving inappropriately with women. Dilawar said, "You already know Rahul Gandhi. He is seen in public rallies and meetings with women by putting his hand on their shoulders or kissing them. This entire gang is of obscene people."Controversial statement on HalalaDilawar also targeted the Congress on religious and social issues. Referring to the Halala practice, he said that the people of Congress support such practices, which promote "characterlessness" with women. He claimed that the thinking of the Congress considers such practices as "purity", which according to him is inappropriate.Emphasis on the image of the Assembly SpeakerMadan Dilawar defended Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani and said that his image is spotless. He said, "Vasudev Devnani is one of the best leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His character is of high standard. It is foolish to even think such things about him." Dilawar also said that the false allegations of Congress cannot tarnish Devnani's image.Attack on other issues of CongressDilawar accused the Congress of opposing issues like construction of Ram temple and removal of Article 370. He said, "Congress opposed these issues, but we built the Ram temple and removed Article 370. Similarly, cameras will also be installed in the Rajasthan Assembly."
