China Telecom Building: A massive fire has been reported in the dozens-storey China Telecom building in Changsha city, capital of China's southern province of Hunan. It is being told that this building is more than 200 meters long (656 feet). Dense smoke was seen in the sky at the time of the incident. The fire has been brought under control, but there is no word yet on the casualties.
According to media reports, the fire brigade team immediately took over to control the fire and rescue work was also started at the spot. Meanwhile, China Telecom said in a statement on social media that a fire broke out at our number-2 communications tower in Changsha at around 4:30 pm (local time) today. The fire has been extinguished. No casualties have been reported so far. The communication has not been cut either.
