The previous budget was Rs 5,50,270.78 crore. Suresh Khanna finalized the budget on Wednesday. The budget was passed in the cabinet meeting before being presented in the house. Sources say that in this budget, attention has been paid to fulfill the promises of Sankalp Patra. Implementation of most of the promises is expected to be announced in some form or the other.
