Sanjeev Tetarwal, a brave son of Hamiri Kalan village in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan, and a Constable in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been martyred while serving the nation. His untimely demise has plunged his entire village and district into profound grief. Sanjeev Tetarwal was posted in Guwahati, where he suddenly fell ill two days ago, on Thursday, while he breathed his last during treatment, leaving his family and colleagues in deep sorrow.

Emotional Farewell and Public Outpouring

Martyr Sanjeev Tetarwal's mortal remains arrived at the Sainik Kalyan Board in Jhunjhunu on Saturday, from where they were transported to his ancestral village, Hamiri Kalan. As the body reached the village, an emotional and somber atmosphere enveloped the area. A large number of villagers, local dignitaries, and youth gathered to pay their last respects to Sanjeev. The youth organized a massive Tiranga rally, chanting slogans like 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Shaheed Sanjeev Amar Rahen' (Long Live Martyr Sanjeev), symbolizing their respect and gratitude for his sacrifice. His last rites were performed with full state honors, witnessed by tearful eyes.

A Journey of Service and Dedication

Sanjeev Tetarwal joined the CRPF as a Constable approximately 11 years ago, dedicating himself to the service of the nation. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated unwavering duty and courage in various challenging situations. The news of Sanjeev Tetarwal's passing is even more heartbreaking as he was due to be promoted from Constable to Head Constable next year. This would have been a significant achievement in his career, for which he had worked tirelessly. Also, he was scheduled to come home on leave next month, in December, to visit his family. His family members were eagerly awaiting his arrival, and this news has shattered all their hopes, while this tragic coincidence represents an unbearable loss for his family.

Duty in Bihar Elections

Recently, Sanjeev Tetarwal was deployed for a two-month-long duty during the Bihar assembly elections. He successfully completed his electoral duties and had recently returned to Guwahati. After his election duty, he was eager to spend some time with his family, especially his five-year-old son, Dishan, and wife, Pinkesh. Before the Bihar elections, his wife and son had come to the village and were planning to return to Guwahati with him in December. These plans now remain unfulfilled.

Devastating Loss for the Family

Sanjeev Tetarwal is survived by his father, Dharampal Singh Tetarwal, a retired Deputy Director from the Education Department. His mother, Bimla Devi, is a homemaker. Sanjeev's wife, Pinkesh, is also a homemaker, and they've a five-year-old son named Dishan. Sanjeev's elder brother, Vikas Tetarwal, is a Panchayat teacher in the village, while sanjeev's wife and son used to live with him in Guwahati but had come to the village due to the Bihar elections. This loss is irreparable for the family, especially for his young son, Dishan, who has lost his father, while the entire family is engulfed in sorrow.
