The prominent coaching institute of Khan Sir, known as Khan Global Studies, is currently under intense scrutiny as authorities have pointed out significant lapses in safety protocols. Bihar Fire Services DIG Manoj Kumar Nat has officially stated that the coaching center could be locked or sealed if the necessary safety measures aren't implemented immediately. This development comes at a time when Khan Sir is already facing legal challenges, with the threat of arrest looming over him due to a pending FIR. The DIG informed that several discrepancies were discovered during an inspection of the Khan Global Studies facility, leading to a strict warning from the department.

Fifteen Day Deadline for Compliance

The Bihar Fire Services department has issued a clear ultimatum to the management of the coaching center, while according to DIG Manoj Kumar Nat, the institute has been granted a period of 15 days to rectify all identified fire safety flaws and align with the government mandated standards. If the institute fails to comply within this timeframe, the authorities will proceed with locking the premises, while this move is part of a broader crackdown on establishments that fail to prioritize public safety, especially in densely populated educational hubs. The DIG has urged all stakeholders to follow government guidelines to ensure the safety of the general public and students.

Wider Crackdown on Hospitals and Hotels

The inspection of Khan Sir's coaching center isn't an isolated incident. Following tragic fire accidents in Delhi and Muzaffarpur, the Bihar Fire Department has entered an alert mode, conducting rigorous checks across hotels, hospitals, and coaching institutes. During recent inspections in Patna, serious deficiencies were found in four hospitals and one hotel, leading to the initiation of sealing procedures. The establishments facing action include Kunal Hotel, Advance Patna Central Hospital, Arogyavardhan Hospital, Pinnacle Hospital Shyam Trust Research Hospital, and Apex Hospital. The department is taking a zero tolerance approach toward safety violations to prevent future tragedies.

Khan Sir Remains Underground Following FIR

Amidst these administrative challenges, Khan Sir has reportedly gone underground and has not appeared in public since the FIR was registered against him. His current whereabouts remain unknown to the public and the police, who are actively searching for him. On a recent Friday night, a significant police force was deployed outside his coaching center, although they eventually withdrew after some time. The legal pressure on the educator has intensified, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the future operations of his coaching empire.

The History of Kisan Cold Storage Campus

The coaching center operates within a premises famously known as the Kisan Cold Storage Campus, while historically, this site functioned as a cold storage facility, but over time, it transitioned into a major educational hub. While the name remains unchanged, the majority of the campus is now occupied by coaching institutes. The larger portion of the campus, where the classes are held, is owned by Dr RB Prasad. A smaller section still bears the board of the Kisan Cold Storage and is owned by Dr RB Prasad's brother. Currently, the campus houses five major coaching institutes: Ankush Mathematics, Kautilya GS, Savitri Computer, Khan Global Studies, and Gyan Bindu GS, while khan Sir's institute occupies the largest area, featuring approximately 18 to 20 small and large halls, whereas Gyan Bindu GS operates with 4 halls.

Allegations of Conspiracy and Competition

The situation has also highlighted internal rivalries within the campus. Gyan Bindu GS has leveled serious allegations against Khan Sir, claiming that he's conspiring with the landlord, Dr RB Prasad, to have them evicted. They suggest that Khan Sir wants to establish a monopoly over the campus so that students coming from various districts of Bihar for inquiries have no choice but to join Khan Global Studies. Gyan Bindu GS, led by Roshan Anand, has emerged as a significant competitor in recent years, gaining fame for producing successful candidates in various exams and even gifting Bullet motorcycles to top performers. This rivalry has added a layer of complexity to the ongoing safety and legal issues.
