Specifically, the BJP claimed that Natarajan failed to disclose details regarding an ongoing legal case against her in a court in Telangana. According to the election rules, candidates are required to provide full disclosure of all pending criminal or civil cases. The Chief Minister noted that Mahesh Kewat has been an active Swayamsevak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since his childhood. Throughout his political career, he has held various significant responsibilities within the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
