A major and sensational piece of news has emerged from Mumbai, where Bollywood megastar and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan's iconic bungalow 'Jalsa' has received a bomb threat. Following the emergence of this threat, panic has gripped parts of the city, and security agencies have been thrown into high gear. Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow is located in the upscale Juhu area of Mumbai, where massive crowds of fans and tourists frequently gather. This latest threat has once again raised serious concerns regarding the security arrangements of VVIPs and major establishments across the metropolis.
According to the information received, the threat wasn't limited to Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow alone. The threatening email also explicitly mentioned plans to blow up the esteemed Bombay High Court, the premier stock exchange BSE or Bombay Stock Exchange, and the historic Worli Racecourse in Mumbai. All of these high-profile locations were targeted in a single threatening email sent to the authorities. As soon as this alarming email was received by the concerned officials and the Bombay High Court administration, administrative circles went into an immediate frenzy.
Upon receiving the bomb threat email, the Mumbai Police took the matter with utmost seriousness. The police administration and all relevant security agencies have been placed on high alert. Technical analysis and tracing of the email ID from which the threatening message was sent are currently underway. The police are making strenuous efforts to track down the origin of the message and identify the miscreants behind it. Special teams from the cyber cell have been deployed to unmask the perpetrators. Currently, the Mumbai Police and other security forces are conducting a thorough investigation into the entire matter.
It's noteworthy that this isn't the first time Bollywood celebrities or prominent Mumbai landmarks have received such alarming threats. Recently, popular Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Tusshar Kapoor also received similar bomb threats. However, displaying swift action, the Mumbai Crime Branch successfully arrested the accused in the Ayushmann Khurrana threat case from Bengaluru. The arrested individual was reported to be an IT engineer by profession. On top of that, the Mumbai Police had also thoroughly investigated the threats received by Tusshar Kapoor to ensure accountability and preempt any potential danger.
Observers and industry analysts have pointed out that ever since the life-threatening attack on popular Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, several other film industry stars have received various kinds of threats through different communication channels. These incidents have fueled intense discussions within Bollywood corridors regarding whether underground criminal elements or underworld-style tactics are once again attempting to cast a shadow over the film fraternity, while the police are keeping all these angles in mind as they progress with their investigation to maintain absolute law and order in the city.
