In his early days, he collaborated with a few friends to establish a small-scale industry named Vibhav Chemicals. His involvement in the industrial sector also saw him serving as a member of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry based in Hubli.

The Hubli Idgah Maidan and the Political Turning Point

Before his formal entry into politics, Pralhad Joshi was a dedicated worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The most significant turning point in his political career occurred in the early 1990s. Between 1992 and 1994, a major movement erupted over the hoisting of the national flag at the disputed Idgah Maidan in Hubli, also known as the Kittur Rani Chennamma Maidan. Joshi played a leading role in this movement, which was spearheaded by the RSS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This movement made him a household name overnight in Dharwad and the surrounding regions. While his supporters viewed it as a symbol of national pride, critics alleged that it contributed to communal polarization in Karnataka. Recently, the Supreme Court upheld the Karnataka High Court's decision to return the ownership of this ground to the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation. During this same period, Joshi also led the Save Kashmir Movement, which further elevated his political profile.

The Invincible MP of Dharwad and BJP Strategist

A Key Minister in the Modi Cabinet

Renewable Energy and Future Goals
