Rajasthan Government Gives Age Concession To EWS Students

Alwar. the Chief Minister announced the relaxation in the age limit and fees in the reservation of IWS category in the Assembly, similar to other classes. City MLA Sanjay Sharma had demanded exemption in age limit and fees to the candidates of IWS category in the Assembly on March 7, as a calling attention motion in the Assembly. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, City MLA Sharma said that the government has made provision of 10 percent reservation in services under the state government for the EWS category, but the relaxation in the maximum age limit and examination fee for the candidates of this class like other reserved classes. No exemption has been provided.

On this, the state government informed that this case is under trial. City MLA Sharma had raised this issue in the assembly in the last June also through a slip. Now the Chief Minister has announced exemption of maximum age limit and exemption in examination fee to the economically weaker section in the assembly.
