The decision regarding the appointment of the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is expected to be revealed soon. According to the information that has surfaced, a crucial meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, September 2. The meeting will take place at Maniram Das Ji Ki Chavani in Ayodhya, starting at 3 PM. This meeting is considered highly significant as it aims to finalize the leadership structure for the temple's administration.
High-Level Preparatory Meeting Held
Ahead of the main meeting on Wednesday, an important preparatory session was organized on Tuesday within the Ram Mandir premises in Ayodhya. This session involved key officials from the committee formed for the selection of the CEO, while notable attendees included the Treasurer of the Ram Mandir Trust, Govind Dev Giri, and the Executive General Secretary, Krishna Mohan. Also, the ex-officio member and District Magistrate of Ayodhya, Shashank Tripathi, was present. Mahant Dinendra Das of the Nirmohi Akhara, who is also a member of the Ram Mandir Trust, participated in the discussions. Following this meeting, it was disclosed when the name of the new CEO would be officially announced.
Search Committee Submits Shortlist
The official announcement of the first CEO of the Ram Mandir is likely to occur during the Trust's meeting on Wednesday. Reports indicate that a three-member search committee was specifically constituted to identify suitable candidates for the CEO position. This committee comprised Retired Lieutenant General Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi, former scientist Suresh Haware, and former Justice Pramod Kohli. The committee has shortlisted three names for the post and submitted its comprehensive report during the meeting held on Tuesday. The report was received by the members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, including Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Dinendra Das, Acting General Secretary Krishna Mohan, and Ayodhya District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi.
Trust to Deliberate on the Report
Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, the Treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, commented on the progress of the selection process. He stated, "This report will be discussed in the Trust's meeting on Wednesday. " This indicates that while the groundwork is complete, the final seal of approval will be given by the collective body of the Trust during the scheduled session.
Filling Vacant Positions in the Trust
In addition to the CEO appointment, the Trust is also expected to announce appointments for several vacant positions on Wednesday. Currently, there are three vacancies within the Ram Mandir Trust. These vacancies arose following the resignations of the former General Secretary Champat Rai and member Dr. Anil Mishra, which occurred after allegations regarding the theft of offerings at the Ram Mandir. Also, a seat became vacant following the recent demise of Raja Vimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra. The names of the individuals chosen to fill these three positions are likely to be revealed during the Wednesday meeting.

Information suggests that the appointment for the post of Secretary within the Ram Mandir Trust has been nearly finalized. Jagdish Afle is the individual slated for the Secretary position, and an official announcement regarding his role is expected on Wednesday. Other prominent names being considered for inclusion in the Trust include Yatindra Mishra, a litterateur and the son of the late Trust member Raja Vimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra. On top of that, Bajrang Lal Bagra, the International General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and Dinesh Ji, a member of the VHP's Central Advisory Committee, are also potential candidates to join the Trust's leadership.
