Cricket | Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, is currently out of the team. Under his captaincy, Pakistan defeated India to win the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy title. However, after this in the 2019 World Cup, under his captaincy, the team could not progress beyond the group stage. Wicketkeeper batsman Sarfaraz was not selected in the team for the 2021 World Cup even after this and another wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan was included in his place. A video of Sarfaraz running away from international cricket is becoming quite viral on social media. In this video, he is seen playing street cricket with his son Abdullah.

It is clearly visible in the video that former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz got bowled by his 5-year-old son's yorker ball. This video of Sarfaraz's son is now becoming quite viral on social media. Sarfaraz is seen smiling after being bold. Fans are also commenting a lot on the video and advising Sarfaraz to practice batting. Sarfaraz had earlier said that he does not want Abdullah to play cricket as it involves a lot of pressure. However, Abdullah seems to have a great interest in cricket and enjoys the game. He would love to play as a fast bowler. At the age of 5, he has bowled his father with his perfect yorker.

Sarfaraz had said during an interview on a local channel, 'Abdullah is fond of playing cricket. But I don't want him to become a cricketer. Actually, being a cricketer, I have faced many things which I don't want Abdullah to have to face. This is human nature. Being a cricketer, I want my brother or son to be picked immediately. Otherwise, it hurts.'

Sarfaraz played his last T20 International for Pakistan on the Bangladesh tour and the last ODI match against South Africa in Centurion in April 2021. He captained Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League this season, finishing fifth in the table.
