Sanjivani Society Scam: Justice Praveer Bhatnagar of Rajasthan High Court has refused to hear the petition of Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Justice Manoj Garg did the same on March 28. On March 24, a petition was filed to postpone Shekhawat's arrest and hand over the investigation to the CBI in the Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society scam case. Rajasthan Police has become active for the last few days regarding this scam of more than 900 crores. FIRs are being registered citing months-old complaints of the victims.

It is being said that ever since Gajendra Singh Shekhawat made a defamation claim against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Rajasthan Police has become more active.

On March 28, a single bench of Justice Manoj Garg refused to hear the matter. The petition was to be heard in a single bench of Justice Praveer Bhatnagar on Tuesday. Here also the judge refused to hear the petition.

Senior Advocate Manindra Singh, his Assistant Advocates Yuvraj Singh and Aditya Vikram Singh were also present in the Jodhpur High Court on Tuesday on behalf of Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh. Advocate Manindra Singh told that on receipt of the petition, Judge Praveer Bhatnagar of Jodhpur High Court said - take the petition to some other bench.

On the other hand, senior Supreme Court advocate ASG Aishwarya Bhati had reached the Jodhpur High Court on behalf of the Union of India Multi Cooperative Society to defend the society.

Chief Minister and Union Minister are face to face

For the last few months, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat are at loggerheads over the issue of Sanjivani Cooperative Society. Regarding the Sanjeevani issue, on February 21, the CM had named Shekhawat and his family as accused of this scam. After this, Shekhawat filed a defamation case against Gehlot in the Delhi court in the first week of March.

After filing a defamation case against the Chief Minister, SOG became active in Rajasthan and started registering cases against the operators of the society. Between March 22 and April 2, 123 cases were registered in Jodhpur, Barmer and Jalore in 11 days. Till Tuesday, more than 150 cases have been registered in this matter.

5-5 cases on behalf of each victim

In this case, 5-5 cases are being registered in the name of each complainant. There are 3 cases registered in the name of Ramakant Gupta, a resident of Kudi in Bhagat Ki Kothi police station in Jodhpur. Two cases are registered in the name of Basant Kumar. In this way, a total of five cases have been registered in Bhagat Ki Kothi police station. In these, 3 cases are registered by 1 name and two cases are registered by 1 name.

FIR is being registered on every fixed deposit. Due to the huge amount, an FIR is being registered on 3 fixed deposits. The victim Parasmal Jain invested Rs 3 crore and has a total of 180 fixed deposits. In such a situation, 60 FIRs will be registered in the name of Parasmal Jain alone. He told that so far 5 FIRs have been registered in his name.

Sardarpura police station officer Somkaran said that till Tuesday, a total of 21 cases have been registered in Sardarpura (Jodhpur) police station. Mahamandir police station officer Harish Solanki said that 15 cases were registered in the police station on Tuesday. A total of 20 cases have been registered in the last one week. The documents of the victims are being called and their documents are being seen.

Arrived with the document after getting a call from the police station

Mishrilal Chauhan, a resident of Katla Bazar, told that he had invested a total of 5 lakh 77 thousand. On Monday, he got a call from the Mahamandir police station. He reached the police station and the documents were examined there. Earlier, he had not lodged any FIR, but had definitely lodged a complaint with the Cooperative Department.

Similarly, Jyoti, a resident of Adarsh Colony, says that no case has been registered from our side. When I got a call from the police station, I came to know that an FIR has been lodged.

Renu Bala, a resident of Pavata Sea Road, told that in the initial phase, action was taken in the group. After that nothing happened. Now the case has been registered. He told that about 5 lakh was invested keeping in view the future of the children.

Gehlot is a constant attacker, read what he said time and again

February 21: The CM in Jaipur had said about the Sanjeevani scam – his family members are involved in the Sanjeevani scam. Gajendra Singh's father, his mother, his wife, his five brothers-in-law are included in it. His mother has passed away. His whole family is involved. There are around 50 accused in this case. After this, Shekhawat filed a defamation case in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court in March.

March 21: During the Jodhpur tour, the CM had said – Whatever used to happen in Sanjivani Society used to happen as per Shekhawat's wish. The Union Minister has sued him. In such a situation, even after a case has been registered against me, if the poor people get their rightful money back, then I am ready to face the punishment.

March 24: On the same day, Shekhawat filed a petition in the Jodhpur High Court regarding the SOG case, demanding transfer of the case to the CBI. After this, the CM once again targeted the Union Minister during his visit to Jodhpur.
