The investigation into the conspiracy behind the attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff reached the national capital, Delhi, on Tuesday, while the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested four people in connection with this high-profile attack, which notably includes two women. Delhi Police apprehended Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita and handed them over to the Mumbai Police. These individuals are accused of playing a crucial role in arranging and delivering the weapons that were used by the three main assailants in the attack on Tiger Shroff, while this major breakthrough has intensified the probe into the nexus between the notorious criminal syndicate and local operatives.

Who are Radha and Babita and What Was Their Role

According to investigative details, Radha and Babita were directly linked to the arms smuggling network operated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Both women operated as couriers for the gang, facilitating the logistical movement of illegal weapons. Originally hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Radha and Babita traveled to Dadar in Mumbai to hand over a major cache of weapons to local handlers of the gang. While Kunal and Sumit were tasked with arranging the firearms, Radha and Babita acted as the critical link to transport and deliver those weapons to three operatives in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police have obtained a three-day transit remand for further questioning.

Court Proceedings and Transit Remand

Following their arrest by the Special Cell's NDR team, the four accused persons—Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita—were produced before the court. The accused were presented via Kalandra under Section 35(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Subsequently, the Crime Intelligence Unit (CID) of Maharashtra Police, Mumbai, sought the court's permission for custodial interrogation and formal arrest of the accused, while the court granted this permission. Later, the Mumbai Police requested a three-day transit remand for the accused, which was duly approved by the court to facilitate comprehensive interrogation in Mumbai.

The Attack on Tiger Shroff on Sunday

The incident occurred last Sunday evening when actor Jackie Shroff's son, Tiger Shroff, went to play football in Juhu, Mumbai. As his BMW car was passing through a crowd of gathered fans at the gate, two individuals suddenly emerged from the front and opened fire on the vehicle. The assailants discharged 6 to 7 rounds of bullets. One of the attackers managed to get extremely close to the actor and aimed directly at him. Fortunately, when the shooter pressed the trigger, his gun jammed, allowing Tiger Shroff to narrowly escape unhurt. However, the actor's driver and another individual present at the scene sustained injuries during the firing.

Three Shooters Arrested from Rajasthan

Earlier this week, the primary attackers—identified as Hritik alias Roshan, 22, from Bihar, along with Rehan, 18, and Phool Singh, 18, both from Haryana—were apprehended from Kota, Rajasthan. They were allegedly planning to flee to Nepal when the police nabbed them. Reports indicate that all three have direct affiliations with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has publicly claimed responsibility for the attack on the actor. Authorities believe that Tiger Shroff was targeted due to his close association with a specific prominent actor, and investigations continue to unravel all aspects of the conspiracy.
