US President Donald Trump has made a major and significant claim that the ongoing war with Iran will come to an end very soon. Addressing an election rally in Kentucky on Saturday, US President Donald Trump told his supporters and the public that this conflict would conclude completely in a very short span of time. During this rally, Trump not only predicted the end of the war but also assured that once the conflict terminates, gas prices in the United States would drop even lower than they were before. In his address, the US President also specifically mentioned the recent US military strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, terming them an absolute necessary and unavoidable action.

Strokes on Iranian Nuclear Sites Deemed Necessary

Continuing his address at the Kentucky election rally, US President Donald Trump stated that the strikes carried out on Iran's nuclear facilities have caused massive and irreparable damage to Tehran's nuclear capabilities. Trump emphasized that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is the absolute top priority of United States national security. He stated in clear terms that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons, because according to his assessment, Tehran could potentially use them, posing a severe threat to regional and global security. This stance of the US administration highlights how vigilant and aggressive the United States remains regarding its strategic interests and security in the Middle East.

Iran's Stance - Stoppage of Conflict on All Fronts is Essential

On the other hand, amidst these claims by the US President, a sharp and clear reaction has emerged from Iran, while iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh took a firm stance, stating that for lasting and long-term peace in the region, it's critically essential that the ongoing conflict on all fronts be brought to an immediate halt. He issued a stern warning that if fighting and military operations continue in even a single area, it could prolong this broader conflict further, posing an even more severe threat to regional stability. According to information released by Iran's official news agency IRNA, Deputy Foreign Minister Khatibzadeh specifically stressed the urgent need to end Israeli military operations in Lebanon.

Islamabad Agreement Memorandum and the Lebanon Issue

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh also claimed that the Islamabad agreement memorandum reached between Iran and America in mid June clearly included the crucial issue of Lebanon. As part of this diplomatic tour, Khatibzadeh arrived in the Lebanese capital of Beirut last Wednesday. During his stay in Beirut, he held high-level talks with local leaders and key political figures. According to official details, he met with Lebanon's Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while khatibzadeh described all these meetings as extremely positive and useful, which is said to further promote mutual understanding between the nations.

Serious Allegations Against US and Israel for Breaking the Agreement

Following the meetings, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister leveled direct and serious allegations against the United States and Israel, accusing them of openly violating the Islamabad agreement memorandum. He claimed firmly that by continuously attacking Iran and Lebanon, both nations have severely damaged the spirit of that agreement. Expressing regret, Khatibzadeh stated that all diplomatic efforts made by the United States to broker a ceasefire and halt Israeli military action in Lebanon failed to reach any concrete results. He stated in blunt words that Israel can't be trusted under any circumstances, and it's the direct moral and diplomatic responsibility of the United States to persuade its ally to halt its military actions.

US War Against Iran Termed Illegal Under International Law

Expanding on his remarks, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister termed the US-led war against Iran as completely illegal under international law. He claimed that despite all its efforts, Washington has failed to completely dismantle Iran's strong air defense system and its internal capability to launch retaliatory actions. Khatibzadeh stated that Iran has faced a very serious and difficult conflict so far, but despite this, the country will continue to defend its sovereignty and regional integrity with full force. This stance of Iran clarifies that it won't bow down to any external pressure and remains fully prepared for its own defense.

Readiness for Nuclear Talks and Strait of Hormuz Proposal

On top of that, the Iranian official also made the significant announcement that Tehran is fully prepared to answer all questions raised by the International Atomic Energy Agency, known as the IAEA, and the United States regarding its peaceful nuclear program. He also claimed that more than 15 official IAEA reports have already fully confirmed that Iran is completely complying with the regulations of its nuclear program. Making another major claim, Khatibzadeh stated that Iran had proposed to the international community that it could reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz within just seven days. Concluding his remarks, he stated that Iran never desires the initiation of any war, but if a war is forcefully imposed upon it, the country is fully capable of giving a fitting and strong reply.
