UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya on Akhilesh Yadav offer of CM

Uttar Pradesh : Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya has given a befitting reply to the offer of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He said that like Akhilesh Yadav, he is not in politics for the greed of power, but has been made for social service. Talking to Zee News, he said that Akhilesh Yadav should take training in the branch, only then he will understand that his offer is useless. They have been doing politics by capturing the booth which is not going to happen now. In fact, a day earlier i.e. on Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav while giving an offer to the Deputy CM of UP had said that what is there in the post of Deputy CM, you come with us, our 100 MLAs will be with you and you become the Chief Minister.

On the question of Akhilesh Yadav's offer, he said, 'You also understand Akhilesh Yadav's frustration, I also understand. They have lost Azamgarh, they have lost Rampur, they have also lost Mainpuri, now only voting is left on 5th December and counting on 8th December. At such a time, he is talking like this. He has talked like this before as well. I have said that I reject such a proposal. I am a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. We are not made for power or any post for greediness, we are made for the service of the country and the society.

'Akhilesh does not know where to speak'

He further said, 'This is what we are taught in the Sangh. I want to tell them that they should start going to the RSS branch and do the kind of training that is done, then they will understand that they are doing very wrong with the offers they give. They don't understand, they are confused, confused as to what to say. The booths they used to capture on the strength of hooliganism, they will not be able to do that now. Those who used to buy with money will not be able to buy now. The Bharatiya Janata Party does the politics of cleanliness.

'Uniform Civil Code is our resolution'

Keshav Prasad Maurya said, 'We were in favor of Uniform Civil Code and we are taking it forward. As far as Uttar Pradesh is concerned, we are not behind in that also. You will get to see the picture soon. In Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and now in the assembly elections in Gujarat too, our party has included it in the manifesto.

On the question of implementing equal citizenship from the Center, he said, 'This subject is not at my level, but the states are moving forward in their own way. I believe that all political parties should support this, move forward together.

Said on love jihad – daughters should be alert

On the incidents of Love Jihad, the Deputy CM said, 'It is very unfortunate and sad that such incidents are happening. It is taught to love, but to commit such barbaric murder in the guise of love, it is a matter of shame to humanity. Whatever has to be done at the level of law will be done, but today it is necessary that every daughter should be alert, careful, family should be careful. In this way, those who trap girls and carry out such incidents, keep watching and work will be done on them.
