Jasprit Bumrah: Senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Asia Cup T20 tournament due to a back injury. It will take some time for Bumrah to recover from this. The selection of the Indian team for this tournament was to be held on Monday itself, but till now there is no clear information about it.

A senior BCCI official said on condition of anonymity, “Jasprit Bumrah has a back injury and will not play in the Asia Cup. He is our main bowler and we want him to regain his momentum before the T20 World Cup.
Injury can be more serious
"We don't want to take the risk by including him in the Asia Cup squad, it could make his injury more serious," the official said. Bumrah was last seen on the field in the ODI series against England. Since then he has been rested. He is currently holidaying in America with his family.
