Nepal New PM: After the recent violence and public movement in Nepal, there has been a change of power. Due to long protests and violent incidents, the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had to resign from the post. After this, on the basis of the people of Nepal and political consensus, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sushila Karki was elected as the interim Prime Minister.India expressed confidenceIndia congratulated Sushila Karki on taking oath as interim Prime Minister and welcomed the new government. With this oath, she not only became the interim Prime Minister of Nepal but also became the first woman Prime Minister in the history of the country.Change after mass movementThis change in Nepal did not come suddenly. The anger of the youth erupted over the ban on social media, rising corruption and unemployment. Violence spread in demonstrations in many cities including the capital Kathmandu and many youths also died.
