Global Rescue Model and Citizen Safety

India has demonstrated its commitment to citizen safety both at home and abroad. Amidst the instability in West Asia, Indian embassies are operating 24×7 to assist those in need. As a result, 2,764 Indian sailors stationed on commercial vessels were rescued safely without any injuries. 96 lakh passengers have returned home safely since February 28. On top of that, India showcased its rescue prowess by evacuating 2,445 Indians from sensitive areas like Iran via land routes, proving the effectiveness of its international rescue operations.
