A major and significant development has emerged in the highly discussed and sensational Shiva Sharma murder case in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The primary accused, Shraddha Dubey, who had been continuously absconding for nearly the past eleven days in this high-profile case, has finally been apprehended from Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra by a joint team of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and the Lucknow Police. In this successful and well-planned operation, the police succeeded in capturing not only Shraddha Dubey but also her sister Rashmi Dubey and their car driver Danish from Nagpur. A hefty bounty of fifty thousand rupees each had been announced by the Uttar Pradesh police department on all three of these accused individuals, which was officially recorded in police files ever since they went into hiding.
Following this arrest of Shraddha Dubey, the biggest question that arose was why it took the police professional agency such a long time to nab a woman and her accomplices, especially when the entire police department and the STF had been working day and night to search for her. The answer to this extremely important question was provided by none other than UP STF Chief and ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash, while while addressing the media and the public, STF Chief Amitabh Yash explicitly stated that the absconding main accused, Shraddha Dubey, possessed deep knowledge of the working methods and standard operational procedures of the police department. Along with this, she also had good awareness of various technical aspects and methods to evade police surveillance, which is why she continuously succeeded in deceiving the law, and it was precisely because of this technical awareness that her arrest took so much time.
According to STF Chief Amitabh Yash, Shraddha Dubey had a thorough understanding of how the police operate, and taking advantage of this, she continuously kept changing her locations and remained out of the police grip. However, despite displaying such cleverness, multiple teams of the Uttar Pradesh Police were constantly on her trail. Special units of the state police and the STF were dedicated to this single objective with absolute commitment. STF Chief Amitabh Yash further informed the media that ultimately, the joint teams of the Uttar Pradesh Police and the STF have achieved major success in their long and rigorous efforts. Following the arrest of Shraddha Dubey and her associates, they will now be subjected to intensive interrogation in police custody, which is strongly expected to bring to light many other unresolved aspects and hidden secrets related to this entire murder case.
Looking at the background of this entire matter, the Uttar Pradesh administration had deployed all its resources to search for Shraddha Dubey and her other accomplices, while apart from the special teams of the UP STF headquarters, teams from the Lucknow STF, Lucknow Commissionerate police, and Varanasi STF were deployed on the ground to hunt down the accused. All these intelligence and field teams were instructed to use every possible effort to find a clue about the accused. Utilizing their technical surveillance and intelligence network, the investigative agencies finally obtained concrete information that the accused Shraddha Dubey, along with her sister and driver, was hiding in the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra. Immediately after receiving this precise and solid location, a joint special team of the UP STF and Lucknow Police was dispatched to Nagpur.
Upon reaching Nagpur, this joint team executed a well-planned cordon and search operation with the assistance of the local Nagpur Police Commissionerate and local units there. As a result of the success of this joint operation, the main accused Shraddha Dubey, along with her sister Rashmi Dubey and car driver Danish, was safely and successfully taken into custody from Nagpur, while providing official confirmation regarding this entire matter from the Police Commissionerate Lucknow, it was informed that a bounty of fifty thousand rupees each had been announced on all three accused namely Shraddha Dubey, Rashmi Dubey, and Danish, which will now be processed procedurally following their arrest.
The origin of this entire criminal case took place at the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow. According to police records and official documents, a written complaint was lodged by Ranjana Sharma on the ninth day of October in the year two thousand twenty-six at the Hazratganj police station. Based on this written complaint, the police formally registered a case regarding this serious matter. The case registered by the police falls under Section ten three subsection one of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, commonly known as BNS, which is directly related to the grave offense of murder. As soon as this case was registered at the Hazratganj police station and the gravity of the matter became public, Shraddha Dubey, Rashmi Dubey, and their driver Danish went absconding to escape police custody and kept hiding continuously.
Ever since the case was registered, no official location of these accused was traceable, following which the Lucknow Police and the STF constituted special teams for their arrest and declared a bounty of fifty thousand rupees each on all three, while now that all three accused have been apprehended from Nagpur in Maharashtra, the subsequent legal procedures are being expedited. According to STF Chief Amitabh Yash, the entire process of legally taking the arrested accused into custody on transit remand and presenting them before the Lucknow Court is currently underway. All necessary legal and administrative formalities to bring them from Maharashtra to the state capital Lucknow are being fulfilled, and immediately upon completion of these, all of them will be securely presented before the Lucknow court.
After being presented in the Lucknow Court, the police will seek remand of the accused from the court so that they can be thoroughly interrogated. During this police interrogation, an attempt will be made to clearly find out what role and to what extent all these accused personally had in the sequence of events surrounding the suspicious death of Shiva Sharma. In addition, the police will also attempt to find out in which other cities or states of the country these people hid during these eleven days of evading arrest, and who provided them shelter or financial assistance during this period. Presently, all further legal and technical actions in this high-profile case are continuing with full alertness by the Uttar Pradesh Police and the STF.
