Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in the Ukrainian capital after a prior meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. This marked their first visit to Kyiv since the escalation of the conflict. Zelenskyy emphasized that while Ukraine hopes for a strategic agreement with the United States, the country will also require continued support from European nations if the hostilities extend into the harsh winter months. He mentioned plans for further high-level discussions with the United States, France, and Germany to secure the necessary backing.
Territorial Disputes and Direct Negotiations
