After his departure, the workers of the Thackeray faction 'sanctified' the tomb by sprinkling it with cow urine, which enraged the leaders of the Shinde faction.

CM Shinde paid tribute to Bal Thackeray

Let us tell that Balasaheb Thackeray, who was a big advocate of Hindutva politics in the country and an effective leader of Maharashtra, died on 17 November 2012. It was his 10th death anniversary on Thursday. On which the Uddhav Thackeray faction organized a big program at his memorial. In order to avoid direct confrontation with Uddhav and Aditya Thackeray, CM Eknath Shinde reached the Bal Thackeray memorial at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Wednesday and paid tribute to him by offering flowers at his tomb.

As soon as CM Shinde (Eknath Shinde) left there, many workers of the Udd Thackeray faction gathered at Shivaji Park. One of the workers was holding a bottle of cow urine in his hands. The worker allegedly sanctified the monument by sprinkling it with cow urine. The workers of the Thackeray group were angry that Shinde rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray and formed his own government in Maharashtra.

Shinde faction expressed strong objection to the incident

Leaders of Shinde faction have strongly objected to this act of Thackeray faction workers. Shiv Sena Shinde faction spokesperson Deepak Kesarkar said that his party strongly condemns this act. No one person or party can have any right on Balasaheb Thackeray. He was a virtuous soul and he is respected by all parties.
