Banks will remain closed for 9 days in June

According to the list of holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed for a total of 9 days in June 2021. This includes holidays on second and fourth Saturdays and also Sunday holidays. Apart from this, there will be three occasions in banks when they will be closed due to different festivals. However, not all banks will be closed on that day, as these festivals will be state-specific. That is, only the banks of the state where these festivals are celebrated will remain closed.

According to the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank, in June 2021, three holidays have been set for banks in different states of the country, which are on June 15, 25 and 30. Now if Saturday and Sunday holidays are also added to it, then in total 9 holidays will fall in June. June 6, June 13, June 20 and June 27 are Sundays, so banks will be closed in all states on these days. Apart from this, June 12 is the second Saturday and June 26 is the fourth Saturday, so banks will remain closed in all the states these days as well.

Apart from this, June 15 is Mithun Sankranti and Raj Parv, banks will be closed in Izwal-Mizoram, Bhubaneshwar on this day, then on June 25, the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind ji, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed. Finally, on 30th June, the banks will remain closed only in Ramna Ni Hai Kewal Izwal.
