IPL 2021 / BCCI announces remaining matches of IPL in UAE, know full schedule

IPL UAE Schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the remaining matches of VIVO IPL 2021 to be held in the UAE. A total of 31 matches will be played in the UAE over a period of 27 days. It is known that due to the second wave of corona virus in India, the 14th season of IPL had to be stopped midway. The BCCI later told that the remaining matches would be played in the UAE.

According to the new BCCI schedule, the remainder of the IPL season will begin with the match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in Dubai on September 19. The matches will then shift to Abu Dhabi, where Kolkata Knight Riders will face Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sharjah will host its first game on 24 September. On this day Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Chennai Super Kings.

In the UAE, 13 matches will be held in Dubai, ten matches will be held in Sharjah, while eight will be held in Abu Dhabi. The seven matches will be double-headed, with the first match starting at 3.30 PM IST. At the same time, all the matches to be held in the evening will start at 7.30 pm.

At the same time, the last match of the league will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals on 8 October. The first Qualifier match will be played in Dubai on October 10, while the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 will be played in Sharjah on October 11 and 13. The final match of this season of IPL will be held in Dubai on 15 October.
