IPL 2024 / Big change in Rajasthan Royals team captained by Sanju Samson in IPL

IPL 2024: Currently ICC World Cup 2023 is going on in India. Veteran players from all over the world are playing with their respective teams. Rajasthan Royals appointed Shane Bond as bowling coach

Rajasthan Royals has announced the appointment of former New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond as assistant coach and fast bowling coach. Shane Bond was earlier playing the role of bowling coach of Mumbai Indians. When Bond played, he was known for his speed. He has also worked as bowling coach for New Zealand between 2012 and 2015. When Shane Bond was the bowling coach of New Zealand, in the year 2015, the New Zealand team was successful in reaching the final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2015. After this he was associated with Mumbai Indians in IPL. He remained in the coaching of the team for nine seasons, out of which Mumbai Indians won the title four times.

Meanwhile, welcoming Shane Bond, Rajasthan Royals Cricket Director Kumar Sangakkara said that Shane is one of the greatest fast bowlers. He has the experience of guiding some of the best players. He has a wealth of essential knowledge. Sangakkara said he has worked in the IPL and India for many years and is well-versed with franchise cricket. On the other hand, Shane Bond himself, on joining Rajasthan Royals, said that this is a great franchise which is committed to performing well. The team's bowling group has a great mix of young and experienced players. It would be amazing to work with him.
