Sharing an anecdote related to her father, Archana told that once a person came to their house with a sack of money and said that it was a bribe so that they lose a case. Without wasting a moment, her father threw that person out of the house along with the money. Archana said, "He taught me that honesty is the biggest asset." But her father did not want his children to go into the legal profession. He used to say, "If you become a lawyer, you will have to sell your soul." As a lawyer, many times he had to defend clients whom he knew to be guilty. This moral dilemma troubled him a lot, and this was the reason why he kept his children away from this profession.

Sanjay Gandhi and the case of 'Kissa Kursi Ka'

Archana also told about her father's most famous case. After the emergency, Sanjay Gandhi was accused of burning the prints of the film Kissa Kursi Ka, due to which he had to go to jail. Her father had defended Sanjay Gandhi in this case. This case was in the news a lot at that time, and Archana's father's advocacy further increased his fame.
