By News Helpline. Mumbai | Bollywood celebrities such as Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Bipasha Basu, Aahana Kumra, Vidya Balan and more took to their social media profiles and extended warm wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi.

The Ganpati festival is celebrated every year as the birth of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that Ganesha was born mid-day, which is why the most opportune time for doing Ganesha Puja is mid-day as per Vedic astrology. This year the celebrations will begin from August 22 onwards. The lord is considered as a symbol of wisdom and good fortune.

Ajay Devgn on his Instagram sharing a throwback video of doing aarti of lord Ganesha wrote, “Ganpati Bappa Morya #HappyGaneshChaturthi”

Madhuri Dixit Nene posting the pictures from the previous year clebrations wrote, “Ganpati Bappa Morya! Bappa's arrival will be a little different this year as we fight through the pandemic.
