A major accident took place in Supaul, Bihar on Tuesday. A car crushed many people on the occasion of Eid. The incident is of Birpur Nagar Panchayat Ward No-5 of the district. As soon as people got up after offering Namaz in seven annas, a car came from behind and hit many people. There was a huge panic after the incident. All the injured were immediately brought to the hospital where they are being treated.
It is being said that the driver of the car accidentally put the reverse gear due to which the car suddenly started moving backwards at high speed. The injured have been admitted to Birpur Hospital and all are said to be out of danger.
A car was parked next to the place where people were offering Namaz. People were just getting up after offering Namaz when suddenly the driver put reverse gear. Before people could understand anything, five people including a child were hit. On receiving information about the incident, the officers of Birpur police station also reached the spot. The cause of the incident is being investigated. A thorough investigation will be done if the car was accidentally climbed or how the incident happened.
