Maharashtra Political: Political upheaval continues in Maharashtra. NCP leader Ajit Pawar along with his supporting MLAs joined the Eknath Shinde government. Meanwhile, NCP President Sharad Pawar has cleared the picture of the situation by holding a press conference. He has claimed that he has seen such revolts in the past as well, when only 5 of his 58 MLAs were left, after which he revived the party. Pawar mentioned the time when he used to be with the Congress and there was a big political upheaval in Maharashtra. Pawar says that he is not with Ajit Pawar.

He said that today some MLAs called him and said that he was forced to sign. Rebel leaders will come back. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge told him that they were with him. Apart from this, he said that people will decide who will have authority over NCP.

Sharad Pawar said that he will roam across Maharashtra and go in front of the public. Will meet people and keep their point. At the same time, the senior leader of NCP has taunted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has said that a few days ago the PM had said that the NCP is over. I am happy that some of my colleagues took oath. This ended his corruption charges. Pawar has thanked the PM for this.

Action will be taken against Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare - Sharad Pawar

The NCP president further said that it is the speaker's right to decide on the leader of the opposition. In the next two-three days, we will sit with the Congress and Uddhav Thackeray to assess the situation. His main strength is the common people, he has elected us. The MLAs and all the senior leaders will sit together to decide on any action against the rebel leaders. Being the president, I had appointed Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, but they did not fulfill their responsibilities. So I have to take some action against them.
