Uttar Pradesh | A case of lapse in the security of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has come to the fore. The lapse occurred when the Deputy Chief Minister was on a visit to Ayodhya on Saturday. As soon as his convoy left from the helipad near Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat located at Nayaghat, he went to Ramjanmabhoomi, Hanumangarhi for darshan-worship. Similarly, a few steps away near Nayaghat intersection, a group of handcart, track and street vendors stopped his vehicle.

There was a stir in the police administration after the vehicle of the Deputy Chief Minister was stopped. Immediately the policemen ran towards Keshav Prasad Maurya's vehicle and took the vehicle in their circle. The handcart shopkeepers have accused the Deputy CM of harassment on the Municipal Corporation and the police. He also handed over a complaint letter to him. On which the Deputy Chief Minister has assured action.

In the past, the shops of handcart, street vendors and track shopkeepers were removed by the Municipal Corporation at Nayaghat intersection. After this, the enforcement team of the Municipal Corporation had fixed the selected site orally. On Saturday, the shopkeepers had set up their shops at the place fixed by the Municipal Corporation, but suddenly before the shopkeepers could understand anything, the police started beating them brutally. Angry shopkeepers stopped the convoy of the Deputy CM due to the beating. He told his ordeal to him and accused the police of brutality. On this, the Deputy Chief Minister has given full assurance of action to the handcart, track and street vendors. Also assured of all possible help.
