Digilocker will be connected to Files app

Liz Reed, VP of Google Search, said that Internet users in India have doubled in the last five years. The company is bringing a multisearch feature, starting with Hindi and coming to other Indian languages, that will help you search for a topic using images and text.

The company also showed about the new search feature. With Google's multi search feature, users can search images and text simultaneously. The company will launch more languages in the coming times. It will be launched in Hindi next year. This feature is currently available for English in India.

The company also showcased the India-first feature, in which the search result page will be shown in two languages, which will be preferred by it. The company has also partnered with the National eGovernance Division (NeGD). With this, users can access verified digital documents in the Files by Google app. Digilocker has been integrated for this.

The company told that users will need a unique lock screen to access it. Files app can also identify government documents and organize them in a single folder. The company will also launch courses in association with YouTube creators next year. With this, content creators will be able to monetize the course.

The company is working on Project Vani

Google is working on a new project Vani. It is being prepared in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Its main objective is to capture different Indian languages to build better AI language models. The project will store and transcribe open-source speech data from all 773 districts of India.
