A Dalit youth has accused the police in Chikmangalur of Karnataka. The young man says that the sub-inspector of the Gonibirdu police station beat him first inside the police station and then during the interrogation, he pissed him. The young man has complained from the state's DGP.

Let us tell that Puneet of Gonibird Police Police Station area alleged on sub-inspector that he pissed him during the inquiry in the police station. Puneet has now demanded justice on such a inhuman act by writing a letter to the state's chief DGP Praveen Sood.

Punit alleged that the Gonibird police had detained him on the basis of the verbal complaints of villagers only on May 10. It was alleged that he was talking to a woman and it became angry with the village. Puneet said that I was taken to the police station and was beaten and my hands and feet were tied. I was thirsty, water was demanding, thirsty became a condition like dying. But he (policemen) called a second accused called Chetan to urinate on me.

Puneet accused him saying that he asked to lick the urine to the floor instead of leaving the police station, I did the same and came out. The police also beat me and abused my Dalit community.

SP in Chikmangalur district has ordered the departmental investigation against sub-inspector while taking cognizance on this. SP said that sub inspector has been transferred to another police station and DYSP is investigating this matter. On the basis of Puneet's statement, the case has also been registered against the sub inspector.
