IND vs IRE: India has given Ireland a target of 180 runs in the first T20. Batting first after losing the toss at The Village Stadium in Dublin, Team India scored 185 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Rinku Singh, playing his second international match, gave a good finish to the team playing an innings of 38 runs off 21 balls. Before Rinku, wicketkeeper Sanju Samson scored 40 off 26 balls and Rituraj Gaikwad scored 58 off 43 balls. Barry McCarthy took the maximum 2 wickets from Ireland. While Craig Young and Benjamin White got 1-1 wickets.

Yashasvi-Tilak returned to the pavilion cheaply

Electing to bat first after losing the toss, Yashasvi Jaiswal added 29 runs with Rituraj Gaikwad from Team India. Yashasvi got out after scoring 18 runs. After him, Tilak Verma also returned to the pavilion cheaply after scoring one run. After Tilak, Sanju Samson 40 and Rituraj Gaikwad took over India's innings by scoring 58 runs. Both shared a 71-run partnership.

In the last, Rinku Singh scored 38 runs on 21 balls and Shivam Dubey scored 22 runs on 16 balls to reach India's score of 185 runs. Washington Sundar remained not out on the score of one run.

Team India's wickets fell like this

First: Yashasvi Jaiswal (18 runs) – Craig Young caught by Curtis Camper on the fourth ball of the fourth over. Jaiswal wanted to pull the short ball and was caught by Camper at deep midwicket.

Second: Tilak Verma (1 run) - On the first ball of the 5th over, McCarthy got Tilak caught by Dockrell. Wants to pull the short length ball ahead, the ball takes the top edge of the bat and goes in the air. Dockrell caught at deep square leg.

Third: Sanju Samson (40) - Craig Young bowled the second ball of the 13th over short of good length on the off stump. Samson went to play a big shot, but the ball hit Sanju's bat and went into the stumps.

Fourth: Rituraj Gaikwad (58) - Barry McCarthy bowled the first ball of the 16th over slower on good length. Rituraj Gaikwad was caught at long off trying to hit a six.

Gaikwad-Samson's half-century partnership

After losing two wickets for 34 runs, Rituraj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson shared a half-century partnership for the third wicket. Both added 71 runs. Samson fell victim to Craig Young after scoring 40 runs and the partnership between the two was broken.

After Samson, Rituraj Gaikwad also got out after making Fifty. He was caught out by Barry McCarthy on a personal score of 58 runs.

Electing to bat first, the Indian team made an average start. The team lost two wickets in the first 6 overs to score 47 runs. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal 18 and Tilak Verma were dismissed after scoring one run. Craig Young and George Dockrell took one wicket each.
