If the final match of the ICC World Test Championship is drawn due to rain, then both India and New Zealand will be declared joint winners. In fact, the ICC had already made it clear that in case of a draw or tie in the title match, both the teams will be declared the winner.

The team that wins this title match will be given a 'mace'. Earlier this mace was given every year to the top team in the Test team rankings. At the same time, both the teams will share this mace when the match is drawn.
