Cricket Desk: India’s KL Rahul has dropped a spot to be at 3rd in the latest ICC T20I Rankings. His captain Virat Kohli is the other batsman alongside him to be at the top ten spot. He is at sixth.

New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Aussie captain Aaron Finch have gained big after a superb show. While Guptill leapfrogged three spots to be in top ten (he is at number 8), Finch, who came under heavy fire for his dry run in the initial games, came back strongly in the business end of the five-match T20I series. He stands firm at second, that’s a gain of two places.

Meanwhile England’s David Malan continues to be at the numero uno spot. He will turn up for Kings XI Punjab in this year’s IPL. Australia’s Ashton Agar has moved up the ladder in the latest ICC bowler’s rankings to break in top five, while Sri Lanka’s Lakshan Sandakan and Ish Sodhi have also broke into top-ten positions.

India are all set to take on England in the first of the five match T20 Series starting from March 12 and one of the most important cog in England wheel: Jos Buttler has tipped India to win the T20 World Cup.

“There are many excellent teams, in the last few World Cups hosts nations have performed very well. India is of course strong in every format and T20 is no different and especially playing at home I see India as the favourites,” Buttler added.England and India are slated to play in a five-match T20 series, starting here on Friday and the Buttler feels it is the perfect opportunity for his side to get acclimatised to the the World Cup conditions.
