UP News: The name of Ayodhya Junction railway station has been changed before the consecration program of Lord Ramlala in Ayodhya. Now this railway station has been converted into Ayodhya Dham. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently inspected the railway station during his visit to Ayodhya. During this time, he had talked to the railway officials to rename Ayodhya railway station as Ayodhya Dham.

Under the cultural policy of the Uttar Pradesh government, the names of cities and places are being changed keeping in mind the culture and tradition. Now Ayodhya's name is also going to be added to this list. In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program, CM Yogi Adityanath arrived to inspect Ayodhya Junction. He had expressed his desire to the higher officials of the Railways to change the name of the junction to Dham. A stir had started in the Railways regarding following the order.

Ayodhya Dham railway station changed from Ayodhya Junction

On Wednesday, the name of Ayodhya Junction was changed to Ayodhya Dham. Ram devotees are happy with this announcement. This has been confirmed by the Railway Department. Ramlala's life is consecrated in Ayodhya on 22 January. Lakhs of devotees will flock to Ram city Ayodhya during the programme. Grand preparations are being made here for the Pran Pratishtha program. PM Modi and CM Yogi will participate in the program.

Name of railway station changed before PM's visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming on December 30 to inaugurate the redeveloped new building of Ayodhya Junction and to flag off the Ayodhya Delhi Bande Bharat train. Before his visit, the name of Ayodhya Junction railway station has been changed to Ayodhya Dham. PM's program in Ayodhya can last for about half an hour. Railways have made extensive preparations for the PM's visit.

In October 2021, CM Yogi had decided to change the name of Faizabad Junction to Ayodhya Cantt. Its proposal was also sent to the Center from his side. The word Cantt has been added in honor of the soldiers in the cantonment area located in Faizabad.
