A sensational case of rape has come to light from Ludhiana, Punjab, where a woman has alleged that a police officer raped her for a long time on the pretext of getting a job. The victim is a female national weightlifting player and has appealed to the police commissioner for justice. Senior officials are talking about serious investigation of this matter.

There has been a stir after a woman national weightlifting player accused a police officer of raping her. The victim says that the police officer had promised her a government job in sports quota. He used to repeatedly invite her to private hotels on the pretext of job and rape her.

Not only this, the victim told that the accused police officer also made an obscene video of her. Due to which he kept blackmailing her and raping her. When she came to know that he was lying, the woman protested. Then the police officer started blackmailing her by showing her obscene video and kept raping her.

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police commissioner immediately appointed a woman officer and ordered an inquiry into the whole matter. On the other hand, on the serious allegations against the police officer, ADCP Pragya Jain said yesterday, "This matter has come to the fore but the allegations have not been confirmed yet. He said that the allegations made by the player will be first investigated and if these allegations are confirmed then appropriate action will also be taken.
