RR vs LSG / Rajasthan started with a win, defeated Lucknow by 20 runs

RR vs LSG: Rajasthan Royals made a great start in IPL-2024 with a win. The team defeated Lucknow Supergiants by 20 runs in the first match of the day on Sunday. Rajasthan won the toss and decided to bat first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The team scored 193 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs and gave a target of 174 runs to Lucknow. In reply, Lucknow could score only 173 runs after losing six wickets in 20 overs.

Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson scored unbeaten 82 off 52 balls and Ryan Parag scored 43 runs off 29 balls. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 24 runs on 12 balls. While Dhruv Jurel contributed 20 runs on 12 balls. Naveen Ul Haq got two wickets. Apart from them, Ravi Bishnoi and Mohsin Khan got one wicket each.

Rajasthan defeated Lucknow

In the fourth match of IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 20 runs. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 193 runs after losing four wickets in 20 overs. Sanju Samson played an unbeaten inning of 82 runs. In reply, Lucknow team could score only 173 runs after losing six wickets in 20 overs. Half-centuries from Kaela Rahul and Nicholas Pooran went in vain. Rahul was out after scoring 58 runs, while Puran remained unbeaten after scoring 64 runs. Lucknow needed 27 runs to win on the last six balls, but the team could score only six runs. Then Nicholas Puran and Krunal Pandya were at the crease. Avesh Khan came to bowl, who had played for Lucknow only last season. However, he allowed his old team to score only six runs.
