Indian Cricket Team Series in 2023: Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant became a victim of an accident on Friday morning. His car met with an accident near Roorkee in Uttarakhand. In this accident, Pant was injured in many places. It will not only harm them, but it has also caused problems for Team India. Actually, the kind of injury he has suffered, it is believed that it will take time for him to be fully fit. In such a situation, Team India captain Rohit Sharma will also miss Pant's presence.

Pant is sure to be out of many series

The Indian team will now start the new year with a limited overs series against Sri Lanka. Pant was not selected in this series. After this the Australian team will come on a tour of India in February. The first Test match of the series is to be played in Nagpur from 9 February. Pant will miss that series completely. He will not be able to play in this Test series. During this series, matches will also be played in Delhi and Dharamshala. Pant also handles the responsibility of wicketkeeping.

Also out of IPL

Delhi Capitals have suffered a big blow because Pant not only captained the team but also played as a wicketkeeper. It doesn't seem possible for Pant to be fit till IPL. The next season of IPL is to be played in March-June. In such a situation, due to the absence of Pant, Delhi has suffered not only as a wicket-keeper batsman but also as a captain.

Difficult to play even in WTC final

The final match of the World Test Championship is to be played in June. Although the date has not been decided yet, but if India manages to reach its final, then there is every possibility that Pant will not be able to play in it due to fitness reasons. At present, if we talk about the marks table, then Australia is in the first place and India is in the second place. Sri Lanka is at number three and South Africa at number four.

Suspicious even on West Indies tour

After this, the Indian team will tour the West Indies in July. The date of this tour has not been fixed yet, but two Tests, three ODIs and the same number of T20 International matches will be played during this period. There is a possibility that Pant will not be able to be a part of that tour as well.
