Kolkata: A few hours before the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, politics has heated up over the death of a BJP worker in Kolkata. Amit Shah has demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter and sought a report from the Bengal government. In fact, the body of BJP Yuva Morcha worker Arjun Chaurasia was found hanging near his house on Friday morning under suspicious circumstances.

According to the report published in NDTV, the deceased Arjun Chaurasia was to lead a bike rally to welcome Union Minister Amit Shah in Kolkata today. BJP has alleged that Trinamool Congress killed their worker. However, TMC has denied this.

After meeting Arjun Chaurasia's family in Kolkata, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that no one involved in the murder will be spared. The Home Ministry is concerned about such political violence taking place in West Bengal and I have sought a report from the state government. After the murder of the party worker, Amit Shah canceled all the programs related to his reception.

On the other hand, BJP's Bengal unit tweeted that, 27-year-old Arjun Chaurasia was the Vice President of Bharatiya Yuva Morcha Mandal. Those who were badly beaten up and hanged in North Kolkata. The relentless killings of anti-political activists expose the decline of democracy in West Bengal. Last year 57 BJP workers were murdered. TMC has strangled humanity.

Bengal BJP leader Rahul Sinha alleged that Arjun was murdered on the orders of top TMC leaders. Because he was about to welcome Amit Shah.

On the other hand, political ruckus has started in Bengal after the death of BJP worker. CM Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and BJP have been continuously accusing each other of violence and murders. Today, leaders and workers of both the parties protested for hours outside the house of the deceased Chaurasia. Tension increased due to these demonstrations ahead of the Home Minister's visit.
